Dear Property Owner,
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances:
1. Impervious Surface-(f)Building restrictions. Building restrictions within the RS-2 zoning district shall be:
(1)Maximum impervious surface:Fifty(50)percent.
2. Florida Building Code-Sec. 6-16. Adoption of Florida Building Code. There is hereby adopted, subject to any
modifications, changes and amendments set forth in this article, and for the purpose of establishing rules and
regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and
maintenance of buildings and structures, including permits and penalties, that certain building code known as
The Florida Building Code established by Florida Statutes Chapter 553, Part ViI, as amended from time to time
so that the latest edition of the Florida Building Code shall apply and the international Property Maintenance
Code, most recent edition. in the office of the city clerk, and the same are adopted and incorporated as fully as
if set out at length in this article, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling in the construction of all
buildings and other structures within the city.
ACTION REQUIRED WITHIN five (5) DAYS OF THE RECEIPT OF THIS NOTICE: Resubmit the required plans and
paperwork to obtain approval for the paver project or remove the pavers from the property.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Failure to correct the violation(s) by the required date may
result in this case being referred to the Code Enforcement Board resulting in fines up to two-hundred fifty
($250.00) per day. Upon completion of action required it is your responsibility to contact me and arrange for
