BACKGROUND: Work commenced on the Core City Improvements Project on
July 15, 2002. Some additional work has been approved and other'
work is ready for approval.

Change Order No. 1: Six 4' x 8' project signs were approved with,
a logo to provide information to residents where .construction work
'""' was progressing and the estimated completion date. Total cost
n approved was $4,460.00.
~"" Change Order No. 2:
" "The proposed relocation of the 12" diameter water line on 11~'
street required a vertical offset to go under the existing 8" ductile
iron force main which was shown on the wrong side of the street.
' In addition, the new 12" water line needed to be'extended an
additional 107 feet to reach the actual connection point, which was
~' much closer to Seminole Road than shown on-the plans. The total
`_ cost was $11,196.73, which was approved on an emergency basis
r so as not to hold up the contractor on 11 ch Street.
