Summary of Donner Park activities:
` The Jaguar reading program was a success wi#h the children this summer. Approximately
w ~ 17 children earned tickets to Jaguar games and. autographs from Jaguar cheerleaders.
~,,, The children finished 85 books and book reports for each book.
~ The Donner Center is planning its annual Fafl Festival. `The date for the festival is
September 28. Beaches Habitat will be assisting the center this year in activities planning
!^~ and food preparation.

^ The Jacksonville Energy Assistance Program will be renewing their budget to continue to
assist local families in getting their electricity bills paid.

. The last day of summer camp celebration was a success. The children's theme was
Christmas in July. Peppermint hot cocoa, cookies and Christmas gifts were distributed to
~^ all the summer campers.

`~ Summary of Jordan Park activities:

^ The Jaguar reading program assisted 8 children in receiving Jaguar tickets and autographs
from Jaguar cheerleaders. A total of 40 books and book reports were received and read.

`' ' Jordan Park summer campers finished their final week of summer camp with a small
~ basketball workshop. The children learned different techniques that varied from ball
:..passing to shooting.
^ .Jordan Park summer campers met with Sandra Phillips, Tennis Instructor to learn
+~-+ techniques in playing Tennis. The campers utilized Russell Park Tennis Courts.
