A provision to extend •this period of time to ten days in the case of a fire, storm or other type ""'" property loss, subject to approval of the City Manager, is also provided. r ,. A provision addressing use.of these types of storage structures within non-residential Zoning Districts is .also proposed. Paragraph (b) (2) would allow these to be used for a period not to exceed thirty days; prohibit their placement within the front setback, and prohibit their use for storage of any chemical, hazardous, flammable or combustible materials. An additional minor change is proposed within Paragraph (a) (1). The City's Building Official has advised that the six-month limit for placement of construction trailers is inadequate` since ~, -the length of construction time for most any project within the City commonly exceeds six months. The provision has been amended to simply require the removal of construction trailers ~„„ immediately upon completion of the project. ~', N,.....: ~, .. . .. (a) Temporary Construction Trailers or Structures. ~- (1) Subject to the following provisions, any person may obtain a Building Permit for the construction and/or Use of a temporary trailer or Structure to be used as a F' ` construction shed and tool house for contractors and construction workers on the site.
