06-27-06 Blue Collar Union Meeting MinutesCITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH NE FLORIDA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' LOCAL 630 "BLUE COLLAR" UNION NEGOTIATION MEETING JUNE 27, 2006 The negotiation meeting was called to order at 6:10 PM. Those in attendance were: City: George Foster Union: Andy Bemis, Jack Baldwin, Emanuel Brown, Mike Field, Desmond Greene, and Barrion Hill 1. Union Contract Changes. The Union provided the City with their recommendations for contract changes. (see attached summary) 2. City Contract Changes. The City provided the Union with their recommendation for contract changes with the exception of pay adjustments that are delayed pending City Commission budget and/or Shade meetings. (see attached summary) 3. Other: - During the delay in starting negotiations, the City/Union discussed pension funding issues, employee life insurance. leave policies and several issues, - The Union asked that they be provided with a copy of the current City Personnel Manual. 4. Next Meeting. The next meeting date was established as July 10th at 5:00 PM. 5. Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 PM.
