AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HOURS FOR THE SALE
OF ALCOHOLIC AND INTOXICATING BEVERAGES IN THE
TU,J'N OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town
of Atlantic Beach, Florida:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or per-
sons, firm or firms, corporation or corporations licensed to
sell alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors, wines or beer
in the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to sell, offer for sale,
serve, give away, dispense or dispose of alcoholic beverages,
intoxicating liquors, wines or beer, or to permit the same to
be consumed upon his, its or their premises between the hours
of 2 A. M. and 7 A. K. of any day, and also between the hours
of 7 A. M. and 1 P. M. on Sundays, and the premises in which said
alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors, wines or beer are
as a grocery store or market or
kept, except where such premises are also used/for the sale
and the serving of prepared foods for consumption thereon,
shall be and remain securely closed during such hours, and no
person shall be permitted therein during such hours for any
purpose whatsoever, except to clean up said premises.
Section 2. Any person, firm, association or in the
case of a corporation the officers or agents thereof, violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall upon conviction
be punished by fine not exceeding X100.00 or by imprisonment
not exceeding thirty days.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby
repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immed-
iately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, or its
becoming law without such approval.
