AN ORDINANCE AIqENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50, ENTITLED 3
AN ORDINANCE Providin for the Zoning of the Town of
Atlantic Beach, Duval ounty, Florida, Under and
Pursuant to Chapter 196$$ of the Laws of Florida,
Special acts of 1939, Entitled 'AN ACT Authorizing
the Town of atlantic Reach, Florida, to Provide For,
and Prescribe Zoning Re4ulations;'and Repealing
Chapter 16313, Laws of rlorida, Special Acts of 1933,
Entitled 'AN Act to Provide and Authorize the Town
of Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, to Provide
and Prescribe Zoning Regulations, " As Amended by
Ordinance 99 and Ordinance No. 116.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOoN COUNCIL OF THE
TO.N OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That sub -paragraph (S) of Article III of
said Ordinanw No. 50, as amended by Ordinance No. 99 and Ordi-
nance No. 116, be and the same is hereby amended-,te-reiW as
follows:
S) MINIMUM LOT COVERAGE.
In Residence Districts A, B and C the main dwelling
shall have as a minimum the following enclosed coverage:
1) Within the area in said residence districts
which lies East of Sherry Drive and within the
area which lies East of Seminole Road,and also
all of the lots insaid districts lying along and
abutting upon the west side of Sherry Drive, and
lying along and abutting upon the fest side of
Seminole noad, 900 square feet for a one-story
dwelling and 750 square feet for a 11, 2 or 3 -story
dwelling.
2) 'ithin the area in said Residence Distrcits
other than that described in sub -paragraph (1)
above, 750 square feet for a one-story dwelling,
and 600 square feet for a 1, 2 or 3 -story dwelling.
3) In Residence (D) District the main dwelling
shall have as a minimum an enclosed coverage of 500
square feet.
