An Ordinance granting unto ,& 0r
a permit and license to sell supply water to the
residents of said Town residing in the area known as
Donner's Subdivision
Be it Ordained by the Mayor and Town Council of the
Town of :atlantic Beach, Florida:
1,1.THEREAS, the residents of the Town of Atlantic Beach,
residing in the area known as Donner's Subdivision, are not
supplied with water from the Town's water system, and it is
not now feasible or practical for the Town to extend its system.

as to supply water to said residents; and

well within said area, from which wholesome water may be sup-
plied to said residents, and has applied to the said Town
Council for a permit and license to sell and supply water from
said well to said residents, and it is the desire of said
residents that such permit and license be granted, and the
Council finds it is to their best interest and welfare that
the same be granted as herein provided;
NOW THEREFORE:
Emerson Jackson & Ardella and are
Section 1. Said LeRoy Jackson & Orpah Lee gas hereby
granted a permit and license, until such time as the said Town
may extend its water system into said Donner's Suvdivision or
construct facilities for the supplying of water to the resi-
dents therein, to supply to the residents of said Donner's
Subdivision, or such of them as may desire the same, water
from the said artesian well.

Section 2. Said LeRoy Jackson & Orpah Lee by
acceptance of this permit and license, does give and grant
to the Town full authority, by and through its agents and
representatives, to enter upon any premises used or maintained
by him for supplying water as aforesaid, for the purpose of
taking samples of the water so supplied, and such other
examination of said premises and facilities as it or its agents
and representatives may deem necessary or proper to ascertain
and determine that the water so supplied is wholesome and
healthful drinking water; and in the event it shall at any
time be found or determined that the said water so supplied
is not wholesome, or fails in any respect to conform to the
standards fixed by the State Board of Health of the State of
Florida for healthful and wholesome drinking water, or that
any condition in connection with the supply of said water
inimitable to the health or the welfare of persons using said
Emerson Jackson & Ardella, and
water, exists, said. LeRoy Jackson & Orpah Lee by
acceptance of this permit and license, agrees to forthwith
and with all dispatch possible, correct any of said conditions,
and failing so to do, this permit and license may thereupon be
revoked and cancelled by said Town.
Section 3. The rates and charges to be made by said Emerson Jackson & Ar -
della and LeRoy Jackson & .for the water to be supplied as aforesaid
Orpah Lee
shall at all times be fair and reasonable and shall be subject
to the approval of said Town Council, and before any charges
person Jackson & Ardella, and
shall be made, said eRoy Jackson & Orpah Lee shall
first submit the schedule or rates for the same to the said
Council for its approval.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
