AN ORDINANCE To approve and Adopt the Tax Assessment Roll for the
year 1954, and to Determine and Fix the Rate of Taxation and Make
the Annual Tax Levy of the year 1954.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T:-, MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Tax Assessment Roll of the Town of Atlantic Beach,
heretofore submitted to the Town Council by the Town Tax Assessor, as
thereafter heretofore considered and acted upon by said Town Council,
be, and it hereby is, approved and adopted as the Tax Assessment Roll
of the said Town for the year 1954.
SECTION 2. That upon all the taxable property in and of the Town of
Atlantic Beach, assessed upon the said _Tax Assessment Roll of said
Town for the year 1954, as thus adopted and approved by the Town Council,
there is hereby levied, for all Town purposes for said year (except for
payment on account of Seawall Bonds), a tax of 1L mills. The
said Town Council has ascertained and determined that it is unnecessary
to levy any tax for the year 1954 for the purpose of paying Seawall Bonds
or interest thereon, and, therefore, no tax for such. purpose is levied.
SECTION 3. That the rate of taxation upon all said property, so
assessed upon said Tax Assessment Roll, for and on account of the purposes
aforesaid, is hereby determined and fixed at the total rate of--ZL—mills
upon each Dollar of the valuation assessed on said Roll for and in
respect of each parcel of property thereon assessed severally and
respectively.
