AN ORDINANCE. Al,IENDING SECTION j OF THAT CERTAIN
ORDINANCE ENTITLED: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
SALE, FURNISHING AND DISPENSING OF MALT, VINOUS
AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES; PROHIBITING FURNISHING
OF SANTE FOR SALE AND FURNISHING OF SAME TO CER-
TAIN CLASSES OF PERSONS, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 1,IAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 1 of that certain Ordinance
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE, FURNISHING
AND DISPENSING OF MALT, VINOUS AND ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES; PROHIBITING FURNISHING OF SAME
FOR SALE AND FURNISHING OF SAME TO CERTAIN
CLASSES OF PERSONS, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES
FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE,
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
111. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons,
firm or firms, corporation or corporations licensed to sell
alcoholic beverages, intoxicating liquors, wines or beer in
the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to sell, offer for sale,
serve, give away, dispense or dispose of alcoholic beverages,
intoxicating liquors, wines or beer, or to permit the same
to be consumed upon his or its or their premises between the
hours of 12.01 o'clock A.1vI. and one o'clock P.M. on Sundays,
and 12.01 o'clock A.I.I. and seven o'clock A.M. on all other
days, except that on July 5th, Labor Day and New Year's Day
the hour of Two o'clock A.M. shall apply instead of the hour
of 12.01 o'clock A.i'i., and the preraises in which said alcoholic
beverages, intoxicating liquors, wines or beer are kept, except
such premises as are also used as a grocery store or market,
or for the sale and the serving of prepared foods for consump-
tion thereon, shall be and remain securely closed during such
hours, and no person shall be permitted therein during such
hours for any purpose whatsoever except to clean up said
premises."
