AN ORDINANCE Prohibiting the parking of motor
vehicles within that area of the Town of Atlantic
Beach lying within Ten feet Northerly of the
paved portion of Atlantic Boulevard and viest of
the i,ayport Road; and Providing penalties for the
violation of this Ordinance
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE T4'iAYOR AND TGVN COUNCIL OF TEE
TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to park or
cause to be or remain parked at any time any automobile or motor
vehicle within that area in the Town of Atlantic Beach lying within
ten feet northerly of the paved portion of Atlantic Boulevard and
West of the 1 ayport Road.
Section 2. The Town 1,11arshal may capture, seize, take command
of, impound and remove from said area described in Section 1 hereof,
any motor vehicle that may be found unlawfully parked in violation
of the provisions of this ordinance. All provisions of any ordinance
of the Town of Atlantic Be -ch now or hereafter applicable to capture ,
lost, abandoned or stolen motor vehicles taken into possession by the
Town 1 darshal, shall be applicable to motor vehicles captured, seized,
taken command of, impounded and removed under the provisions of this
ordinance.
Section 3. Any person who shall violate any provision of this
ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be punished by fine in a sum
not to exceed ;25.00, or by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
Section t,. This ordinance shall become effective 15 days after
approval by the 1'•iayor, or becoming law without such approval.
