AN ORDINANCE amending Section 21 of Ordinance
No. 172 of the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
Entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the erection
and construction of a Waterworks System of the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida: liuthorizing the
issuance of 4260,000.00 Utility Revenue Bonds of
said Town to finance the cost of such erection
and construction: And providing for the payment
of the principal. and interest thereof from the net
revenues derived from the operation of said Water
System and from the proceeds of the Utilities
Service and Cigarette Taxes heretofore levied
by said Town, so as to reduce the rates and
charges for the use of the services and f acil-ties
of the Waterworks oystem of said Town.
BE IT ORDAINED by the !iayor and Town Council of the Town
of Atlantic Beach, Florida, that Section2l of Ordinance 172 of
said Town, entitled:

SECTION 21: The reasonable rates, rentals, fees
and other charges for the use of the services and facilities
of said water -works system are hereby found and determined
to be and are hereby fixed and established as follows:
For Establishments within the Town Limits:
Single Units

For all multiple units served through the same meter the rates
shall be in accordance -';ith the following -scale, and the mini-
mum allowance shall be in direct proportion to the minimum rate
paid allowing 104,000 gallons per year for each V'24.00 of
annual minimum rate. All excess gallonage shall be charged
for at the same rate as provided for single units above.
2 Units - w36.o0 per year 5 Units - 972.00 per year
3 Units - 4$.00 per year 6 Units - 84.00 per year
4 Units - 60.00 per year 7 Units - 96.00 Der year
All Units over 7 - X10.00 per year for each additional unit.
Rates for consumers located beyond the town limits shall be
150.q of the rate or rates charged for similar consumers located
within the town limits. Rate for excess consumption same as
schedule for single units within Town limits.
The Town further covenants that the rates, rentals,
fees or other charges (or higher rates, rentals, fees or
other charges if the same should be necessary) will be
charged and collected for the use of the services and
facilities of said Water System as long as the bonds issued
hereunder and the interest thereon are outstanding and
unpaid. The schedule of rates as above set forth shall
not be reduced, nor shall any subsequent schedule of rates
be at any time -reduced, unless all payments required to be
made into any funds created by the provisions of said
Oridnance No. 172, including any deficiencies for prior
payments have been made in full".
