AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50 (AS AMENDED)

ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE Providing for the Zoning of the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, Under
and Pursuant to Chapter 196$$ of the Laws of Florida,
Special Acts of 1939, Entitled 'AN ACT Authorizing the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to Provide For, and
Prescribe Zoning Regulations; and Repealing Chapter
16313, Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1933, Entitled
tAN ACT to Provide and Authorize the Town of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County, Florida, to Provide and Prescribe
Zoning; Regulations"'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 11AAYOR AND TG,rZN COUNCIL OF THE
TO11*TN OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In addition to the land zoned and desig-
nated as "Residence A Districts` by said Ordinance No. 50, and
the zoning mapadopted, establishedand ordained thereby, the
following land situate, lying and being in said Town is hereby
designated and ordained and included as "Residence A District",
viz:
a) All of Selva-I,Iarina Subdivision Unit I,,,o. 2,
as shown on plat thereof recorded in the
public records of Duval County, Florida;
b) A strip of land described as follows:
Beginnin at the intersection of the west RAI
line of Sherry Drive and the north R/W line
of The Plaza, extending northerly along the
rest R/W line of Sherry Drive to the North Town
Limits, westerly 700 feet along said Town limit
line, southerly parallel to the west R/W line
of Sherry Drive to the north R/W line of The
Plaza, easterly along the north R/W line of
The Plaza 700 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. In addition to the land zoned and desig-
nated as "Residence D District" by said Ordinance Ito. 50 as
amended by Ordinance No. 99 of said Town, the following land
situate, lying and being in said Town is hereby designated,
ordained and included as"Residence D District's, viz:
All land within the corporate limits of the
Town of Atlantic Beach lying west of a line
described as follows: Beginning at the inter-
section of the north R/ltd line of Atlantic Blvd.
and the West boundary line of Salt air Subdivision
extending northerly along said west line of. Salt
Air Subdivision to the no•th R/7,11 line of The
Plaza, extending easterly along the north R/6V
line of The Plaz4 to a point 700 feet west of
the west R/W line of Sherry Drive, extending
northerly along a line 700 feet westerly and
parallel to the Vilest R/vd line of Sherry Drive
to the north Town Limits except such -part thereof
heretofore zoned and established as "Business B District"

Section 3. Said OrdinanceNo. 50 as amended by said
Ordinance No. 0.9, is further amended as follows:
Within "Residence D District" as heretofore and here-
by established, no building or premises shall be used,
and no building or structure shall be erected, which
is intended or designed to be used in whole or in part,
for any purpose except the following:
All uses and purposes permitted in 'Residence All,
Residence B" and "Residence C" Districts, and in
addition, the following uses and -purposes: plant
nurseries, children's nurseries, airports and related
services and facilities, golf courses, and municipal
utility and service facilities.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
