AN ORDINANCE FIXING, LEVYING AND ESTABLISH-
ING FEES AND CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE
O uZVER,S OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES AND PRE1JIISES
SITUATE IN THE TOt'N OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA, FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF USING THE
SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF
NEPTUNE BEACH, FLORIDA:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Town Council of
the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida:
WHEREAS, the properties and premises situate in the
Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida, hereinafter specifically de-
scribed are now and at all times prior to January 1, 1957,
were serviced by sewer lines and the sewer disposal system of
the City of Neptune Beach, and it is necessary that certain
nroperties and premises continue to be so serviced; and
WHEREAS, the City of Neptune Beach, as a condition
to supplying said sewer service, has required that the said
Town of Atlantic Beach nay to it a sewer rental for each of
said properties and premises calculated upon the schedule of
rates hereinafter levied and imposed by Section 1 hereof;
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained as follows:
Section 1. There are hereby imposed, levied and
established, and shall be paid for the privilege of using said
sewage disposal system of said City of Neptune Beach, upon the
following properties and premises situate in said Town of
Atlantic Beach, and serviced by said sewage disposal system,
viz:
Lots 4, 5 and 6 in Block 36, Atlantic Beach,
according to plat thereof recorded in the
current public records of juval County, Florida;
Lots 1 and 2, Block 36, Atlantic Beach, ac-
cording to said flat;
Lots 5 and 6 and the North 37 feet of Lot 7,
Block 35, Atlantic Beach, according to said plat;
Lot 8, and the South 15 feet of Lot 7, Block
35, atlantic Beach, according to said plat;
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Atlantic Beach Terrace,
according to plat thereof recorded in said
records;
the following fees and service charges:
An annual sewage rental charge in a sum equal to the
total of the following:
A. (1) 70;0 of the water bill as shown by the
Tater meter for each of the premises
receiving the aforesaid sewer service,
but in no case shall the minimum sewage
charge of commercial premises be less
than 9`1.50 per month; or
2) X1.50 per month per family unit;
and
B. sum equal to the result obtained when
the Duval County, Florida valuation
ad valorem real property assessment)
plus 500 of said valuation, is multiplied

Said sewer service charge as set forth in sub -para-
graph A above shall be paid from and after ''-ay 1, 1957, and
shall be paid by the party liable therefor at the same time
bills for water supplied by said Town are payable, and payment
thereof shall be enforced in the same manner as payment for
water bills are enforced. In the event said charge shall be
delinquent for the period of 30 days, a delinquent or late
charge of 10'16' thereof shall be added thereto.
The said sewer service charge as set forth in sub-
paragraph B above shall be payable on the 15th day of December
in each year, beginning with the year 1957, and if not paid
within thirty (-.gays thereafter, a late charge of 10;6' thereof
shall be added thereto.
Section 2. Should any sewer service charge as herein
and hereby established and levied not be paid within thirty
days after the same becomes due and payable, the Town CJuncil may
b# resolution direct the To -an Manager, or his successor in
office, to disconnect or cause to be disconnected from said
system of said City of Neptune Beach any line or connection
thereto, for which the charge aforesaid shall not have been
paid within the time as herein required. The disccnnecting

of any such line shall not relieve the owner of the premises
involved, or any occupant thereof, from the duty to comply
with the requirements of all ordinances of the said Town re-
quiring that such premises be provided with approved excreta
disposal facilities, and that the same be maintained. The
Town Council may also by resolution direct the said Town Lanager
to disconnect or cause to be disconnected, water supplied by
the Town to the premises involved until said service charge
is paid.
