1. The roof system evaluation herein pertains to above-deck roof components. Roof decks and structural members shall be in accordance with FBC requirements to the satisfaction of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Load resistance of the roof deck shall be documented through proper codified and/or FBC Approval documentation.

4. Minimum 200 psi,minimum 2-inch thick lightweight insulating concrete may be substituted for rigid insulation board for System Type D(mechanically attached base sheet,bonded roof cover),whereby the base sheet
fasteners are installed through the LWIC to engage the structural steel or concrete deck. The structural deck shall be of equal or greater configuration to the steel and concrete deck listings. Roof decks and structural
members shall be in accordance with FBC requirements to the satisfaction of the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Load resistance of the roof deck shall be documented through proper codified and/or FBC Approval
documentation.
5. Preliminary insulation attachment for System Type D:Unless otherwise noted,refer to Section 2.2.10.1.3 of FM Loss Prevention Data Sheet 1-29(January 2016).
6. Unless otherwise noted,insulation adhesive application rates are as follows. Ribbon or bead width is at the time of application;the ribbons/beads shall expand as noted in the manufacturer's published instructions.

9. For mechanically attached components or partially bonded insulation,the maximum design pressure for the selected assembly shall meet or exceed the Zone 1 design pressure determined in accordance with FBC
Chapter 16,and Zones 2 and 3 shall employ an attachment density designed by a qualified design professional to resist the elevated pressure criteria. Commonly used methods are ANSI/SPRI WD1,FM Loss Prevention
Data Sheet 1-29,Roofing Application Standard RAS 117 and Roofing Application Standard RAS 137. Assemblies marked with an asterisk*carry the limitations set forth in Section 2.2.10.1 of FM Loss Prevention Data
Sheet 1-29(January 2016)for Zone 2/3 enhancements.
10. For fully bonded assemblies,the maximum design pressure for the selected assembly shall meet or exceed critical design pressure determined in accordance with FBC Chapter 16,and no rational analysis is permitted.
11. For mechanically attached components over existing decks,fasteners shall be tested in the existing deck for withdrawal resistance. A qualified design professional shall review the data for comparison to the minimum
requirements for the system. Testing and analysis shall be in accordance with ANSI/SPRI FX-1 or Testing Application Standard TAS 105.
12. For existing substrates in a bonded recover or re-roof installation,the existing roof surface or existing roof deck shall be examined for compatibility and bond performance with the selected adhesive,and the existing
roof system(for recover)shall be capable of resisting project design pressures on its own merit to the satisfaction of the Authority Having Jurisdiction,as documented through field uplift testing in accordance with
ANSI/SPRI IA-1,ASTM E907,FM Loss Prevention Data Sheet 1-52 or Testing Application Standard TAS 124.
13. For Recover Applications using System Type D,the insulation is optional;however,the existing roof system shall be suitable for a recover application.

This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction
materials.The documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by Miami-Dade County RER-
Product Control Section to be used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority
Having Jurisdiction(AHJ).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below. The Miami-Dade County Product
Control Section(In Miami Dade County)and/or the AHJ(in areas other than Miami Dade County)
reserve the right to have this product or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product
or material fails to perform in the accepted manner,the manufacturer will incur the expense of such
testing and the AHJ may immediately revoke,modify,or suspend the use of such product or material
within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is determined by
Miami-Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the
requirements of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein,and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building
Code including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.

LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo,city,state and

RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been
no change in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TERMINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or
change in the materials, use,and/or manufacture of the product or process. Misuse of this NOA as an
endorsement of any product,for sales,advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this
NOA.Failure to comply with any section of this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEMENT: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami-Dade County,Florida,and
followed by the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of the NOA is

The Extra Heavy Duty application is as follows.

provided to the Building Official for review at time of final inspection.
3. Contractor shall submit to the Building Official for review the system specifications and details.
Submission of these documents,as well as the proper application and installation of all materials
shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor.
4. Flashings shall be installed according to the manufacturers published standard details,specific
details,approved by BASF Corporation and shall be submitted to the Building Official for review.
5. All work shall be performed by a Contractor licensed to do roofing/waterproofing and be a
Manufacturer Trained 'Qualified Applicator' approved by BASF Corporation. BASF Corporation
shall supply a list of approved applicators to the authority having jurisdiction.
6. All attachment and sizing of perimeter nailers,metal profile, and/or flashing termination designs
shall conform with Roofing Application Standard RAS I I I and the wind load requirements of
applicable Building Code.
7. Perimeter and corner areas shall comply with the enhanced uplift pressure requirements of these
areas. Fastener densities shall be increased for both insulation and base sheet as calculated in
compliance with Roofing Application Standard RAS 117. Calculations prepared, signed and sealed
by a Florida registered Professional Engineer, Registered Architect,or Registered Roof Consultant
(When this limitation is specifically referred within this NOA,General Limitation#9 will not
be applicable.)
8. A non-skid surfacing is required for all pedestrian areas,plaza decks or balconies.
9. The maximum designed pressure limitation listed shall be applicable to all roof pressure zones(i.e.
field,perimeters,and comers).Neither rational analysis,nor extrapolation shall be permitted for
enhanced fastening at enhanced pressure zones(i.e.perimeters,extended comers and comers).
(When this limitation is specifically referred within this NOA,General Limitation#7 will not
be applicable.)
10. MasterSeal Traffic 1500 Traffic Bearing System shall not be installed over lightweight insulating
concrete.
11. All products listed herein shall have a quality assurance audit in accordance with the Florida
Building Code and Rule 6 1 G20-3 of the Florida Administrative Code.
