All:
I went out this afternoon and met with the Chief Engineer of One Ocean (Scott Fogg). I talked to him about the problem
of washing down his dumpster and the water running down the road and into Town Center and into our stormdrains.
He was very understanding of our situation. He said that the existing dumpster has a big crack in the bottom of it and
that is the main problem. They are having another dumpster made for them and he says that the problem will be fixed.
He has told his people to not wash the dumpster area down any more.
I asked him to stay in communication with me and keep me posted as to when the new dumpster will arrive.
He was good with that.

We need to find some accommodation for them. It is not unreasonable to expect them to use water to clean their
dumpster and I'm sure it helps keep critters away.
Work it out.

I received complaint about One Ocean again today after they pulled the dumpster. I am going to follow up Ben's notice
with a code violation letter.

Subject: One Ocean
All,
Stopped and spoke with managers at One Ocean again about dumpster issue. This is my 3rd time on site.
I explained to them they have to come up with another method to dispose of material and fluids that were on the
ground.
They were told no water should be used to wash material down the road. They are to use a oil dry technique and shovel
the material up and put back into dumpster.
They were issued a "Stormwater Management Program Notice of Violation."
-dumpster runoff washed into MS4 System
-find other disposal method
-dumpster material/debris must not be washed down street-first written warning
