Kosoy, Director of Public Works DATE: October 29, 2002 BACKGROUND: First Vehicle Services is requesting an annual increase to the contract for the current fiscal year (11/15/02 through 11/14/03), in accordance with their contract. Currently the contract price is $186,917 and the proposed increase, in accordance with the Consumer Price Index, would be $6,607, raising the proposed contract price to $193,524. BUDGET: $191,500 budgeted for FY02-03 in account number 540-5004-590-3401, and $18,000 budgeted for FY02-03 in account number 540-5504-590-3402. The budget will probably not be exceeded due to the staggered start of the contract versus our fiscal year.. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the annual increase of $6,607 and renew the existing contract for one year, from 11/15/02 through 11/14/03. ATTACHMENTS: First Vehicle Services memorandum dated 9/19!02.
