Request Letter dated June 18, 2019 received 6-24-19 Winter Law Firm PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION 310 THIRD STREET NEPTUNE BEACH, FLORIDA 32266 W.ALAN WINTER TELEPHONE(904)242-0222 awinter@winterlawfirm.com FAX(904)242-7051 Tuesday, June 18, 2019 Time Sensitive Request Angela Irizarry, Code Enforcement Officer City of Atlantic Beach, Florida 800 Seminole Road JUN 2 4 2019 Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 Re: Case: 351 19th Street, AB, FL Claim No.: #172020-1258 Case No.: 16-283 WAW File No.: 110.19027 Date of Loss: Seiva Marina Unit 12-A Lt 13 Dear Ms. Irizarry: . This firm has been asked by Mr. Kenneth Allen Weatherby to represent his interests in the referenced case. I stopped by your office on Tuesday to see if I could access the file and was assisted by Ms. Diaz, but the only documents I have in the file are the City's letter dated May 31, 2019 and the Order imposing fine dated January 10, 2017. To assist Mr. Weatherby professionally, I ask for a full copy of the file. The Winter Law Firm would be happy to pay the costs for a -full copy if needed, and I simply ask that I receive a copy and invoice if necessary. Additionally, I.note that the Magistrate's hearing is scheduled for July 11, 2019 and that Mr. Weatherby's attendance is required. I .know that Mr. Weatherby will be out of continental United States from June 20 through July 20, necessarily requiring me to ask for a continuance of the hearing. I have learned that the hearings only occur every two months, but that will mean that any necessary witnesses and mitigation could be scheduled by mid-September. I therefore ask you to accept this letter as my request that the July hearing be continued. Page 1 of 2 I look forward to receiving a copy of the file in this case. I also hope that you will rule favorably on my request for a coati ance. Thanking you in advance for your prompt consideration of this ma = . Sinc, r: , I W. Alan Winter, Esquire Fla.
