It appears that the wrong color is associated with the different parts of the fence. Please verify that the front portion will be the 4 foot wood fence and the rear will be the 6 foot wood fence. Fence in Right -of -Way: A private fence cannot be constructed in the right-of-way. Even if an existing fence is in the right-of-way, the new fence will have to be built on the private property. Please revise plans to show the new fence to be located on the property. 2. Fence Ownership: On the survey provided, it appears that the portions of the fence to be removed along the northern and southern property lines are actually located on the neighboring properties. The city cannot approve the removal of a fence on a property other than the one on the permit. Please provide proof of ownership of these sections of fence or consent from both neighbors. Additionally, the city cannot approve the construction of a new fence on a property other than the one on the permit. Please revise the plans to show the new fence to be located on the property. informational Comments 3. Easement: There is a utility easement across the eastern edge of the property. Repair and/or reconstruction of the fence in this easement needed as a result of work performed by the city, or a representative of, is the responsibility of the property owner. 4. Water Line: There is a water line along the eastern edge of the property. Avoid damage to underground utilities. Verify vertical and horizontal location of utilities. Hand Dig if necessary.
