This is an update to an existing DEP letter done in January 2017 for Mr. Todd Bosco to construct
a new swimming pool at 1755 Beach Avenue.
The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for the addition of a first floor
covered porch on the east side of the existing single family home at 1755 Beach Avenue. Drawings
and written comments provided show that the covered porch and its roof overhangs will be located
5 feet from the southern property line. Based on this, the proposed construction does not
contravene any local setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
