I am looking forward to to receive an approval of my Tree Mitigation as planted. Tree marked # 1 is a 19" in diameter Cabbage Palm. Tree marked # 2 is a 17.5" in diameter Sylvester Palm. `✓ Tree marked # 3 is a 2" in diameter Red Maple counting as 4". Tree marked # 4 is a 14.5" in diameter Cabbage Palm Cumulative diameter inches for these four trees are 55" surpassing the City's Tree mitigation requirement of 39" for my property. This ended up more than I had planned. Attached is also my Tree Removal Permit request that was denied on 4/27/2017 as I was unable to present a specific Tree Mitigation plan with Tree type and sizes prior to demolition of my old house and construction of my new house. Please provide me an approved Tree Removal Permit for my records when extending Tree Mitigation approval. Aside from planting the trees, there is grass in the front yard and some in the rear yard. The eastern side of the house will have stone pebbles. Except for planting of shrubbery around the house, the ground elsewhere is covered by Asiatic Jasmine. Tree marked # 2 is going to be either a Live Oak or Red Maple (a legacy tree) to be located 3 1/2' from the Northern property line and approx. 23' from the Eastern property line. Tree marked # 3 is a Sylvester palm to be located approx. 3 1/2' from the Northern Property line and approx. 14 1/2' from the Western property line. Tree marked # 4 is Cabbage palm to be located approx. 3' from the Eastern Property line and approx. 20' from the Southern property line. Cumulative diameter inches measured one foot off the ground for these four trees will be at least 39" as per City's Tree mitigation requirement where the Legacy tree will be counted as double credit. Directly in the front is a 14 DBH which has a substantial lean and eventually will be a danger to people and property when it falls. Also, a 13 DBH with decay at the base with damage on the trunk approx. 20feet up with a tapering trunk a d also the I IDBH palm is structurally unsafe and should be removed. I believe at least these should be tak ne into consideration for removal to provide some relief for the home owner. In mitigation cost, I would also like to bring attention to the "somewhat healthy" phrase, it is an industry term that I would use the describe trees that are in the "maintance phrase" of their existence and free of abiotic and or biotic disorders where these are not. However, thank you for bringing that to my attention and would certainly appreciate any relief or mitigation courtesy you would extend to the homeowner. Thank you kindly..
