ITEM: American Heritage Life health (AHL) insurance

BACKGROUND: We have been advised that American Heritage Life will no longer
be renewing their Health Insurance policies as they are leaving the
health insurance market.
The City of Atlantic Beach started AHL health insurance in
October 1997 with a renewal date of October 1, 2001.

REQUESTED ACTION: None. This Staff Report is for information oniy. City Staff is
currently reviewing options and will provide recomttlendations to
the City Commission at the February 12, 2001 Commission
meeting.
