AGENDA ITEM: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certification of Acceptance of
Subgrant Awazd from the Department of Community Affairs

BACKGROUND: The City Commission authorized Staff to submit a grant application
to continue the after-school program in Jordan Park. The grant
application was submitted and Staff received the attached award
letter. The total amount ofthe grant is $15,000. Currently, the
Jordan Park Community Center is under construction; therefore, we
are transporting the kids from Jordan Park to Donner Park for
after-school activities.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certification of Acceptance of
Subgrant Awazd from the Department of Community Affairs

The subgrantee, through its authorized representative,
acknowledges receipt and acceptance of subgrant award number
O1-CJ-Jl-04-26-02-083 in the amount of $15,000,
for a project entitled: Jordan Park Community Center II
for the period of 1G/Ol{2000 through 09/30/2001, in accordance with
the statement of work contained in the subgrant application, and
subject to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's conditions
of agreement and special conditions governing this subgrant.
