AGENDA ITEM: Award of CDBG Housing Rehab bids

BACKGROUND:
This years CDBG housing rehabilitation bid is focused on 8 owner occupied residences in the
target areas on both sides of Mayport Road. The attached bid tabulation reflects the bid received. Only
one Contractor bid, SunState Enclosures.
BUDGET: The current CDBG rehab budget is $176,739.25. Included elsewhere in this agenda is a
proposal by Staff to re-apportion this years additional funding. If the re-apportionment is approved this
line item wilt have a budget of $95;418.62.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff has reviewed the bids and recommends award as noted below. Based upon a determination that
the low bids are reasonable and responsible, Staff recommends award as follows:
