BACKGROUND:
On June 8, 2001, bids were opened at 2:00 p.m. on the Sherry Drive Reconstruction Project. Five
bidders were prequalified and four submitted bids. The bids were as follows:

BUDGET:
The funding will be obtained from available monies for the Core City Drainage Project -Account No.
Core 99 Bond Fund.
RECOMMENDATION:
Awazd the contract for Sherry Drive Reconstruction Project, Bid No. 0001-19, to Callaway Contracting
in the amount of $1,396,461.18, and authorize the City Manager to sign the contract.
