RESOLUTION NO.01-12
ARESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACHPROVIDINGFORTHE
FUTURE USE OF THE ADELE GRACE COMMUNITY CENTER, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission has approved the remodeling of the Adele Grage
Community Center; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the remodeling project shall be partially funded by contnbutions from
civic organizations, businesses and individuals; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to assure that the Adele Grage Community Center
will continue to be used in the future in accordance with the design prepared. by Architect Tat Chan in
2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to protect the Adele Grage Community Center from
future unintended uses.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Comnssion ofthe City ofAtlantic Beach as
follows:
SECTION 1. Upon completion ofthe Adele Grage Community Center renovations, rooms
designed for community purposes shall remain and continue to be used in accordance with the
azchitectural design and shall not be converted or used for any other purpose. Likewise, azeas
designed by the azchitect for offices shall remain and continue to be used as offices.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and
adoption.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach this day of
2001.
