AGENDA ITEM: Advertisement in Fletcher High Sc ool Football Program

BACKGROUND: Fletcher High School accepts paid ads from local governments,
civic organizafions and private companies in their yearly program
for football which is distributed at their games. Atlantic Beach,
Neptune Beach and Jacksonville Beach have all placed ads in
previous years programs. The costs for ads for the upcoming
season is as follows:
Full page ad - $175.00
Half page ad - $100.00
1/4 page ad - $60.00
1/8 page (business card) - $40.00
BUDGET: The cost for this ad can be absorbed within existing budgeted
accounts.
RECOMMENDATION: The Commission should decide if the City of Atlantic Beach
should place an ad in the football program and, if so, what size.
ATTACHMENT: Copies of ads from three beach cities in the 2000 program.
