Young PUBLIC HEARING(S) Body: Community Development Board Date: September 18, 2018 Time: 6:00 PM Request: Request for a variance as permitted by Section 24-64, to decrease the required side yard setback from 10 feet to 7.5 feet to allow for an addition and to decrease the side yard setback from 10 feet to 7.5 feet and decrease the rear yard setback from 20 feet as required by Section III of the Selva Marina Unit 10-B Planned Unit Development to 6 feet to allow for a screen enclosure at Selva Marina Unit 10-B Lot 7 (aka 1820 North Sherry Drive). Summary: The applicant is requesting to construct an addition to the southern side of the house that would be 7.5 feet from the side property line. The applicant is also requesting to construct a screen enclosure that would be located 7.5 feet from the side property line and 6 feet from the rear property line. The property is located within the Selva Marina 10B Planned Unit Development (PUD) which requires front and rear yard setbacks of 20 feet and side yard setbacks of 10 feet for both the house and the screen enclosure. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent meeting to which the Commission has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need to insure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
