1820 Sherry Drive North ZVAR18-0016 Applicant letter to neighborsDear Neighbors, As some of you are aware, we are planning to do a renovation on our home (1820 Sherry Dr. N); however, we wanted to personally inform you before it begins. We love our neighborhood and all the families that make it so special. We want this to be a good experience from beginning to end; therefore, we feel it’s important to have each of you on board. Our streets are narrow, so we will make it a point to be extra considerate when bringing in trucks and equipment. The scope of the renovation will be a small addition (approximately 250 square ft enclosed and 250 square feet outdoor kitchen area) on the Southwest corner of the house with an enclosed pool behind the addition. Due to our current covenants and restrictions within our particular PUD we will be applying for a variance for the screen enclosure and the summer kitchen. Both of these items tie in together and due to the only location for a pool on our property the outdoor kitchen would need to extend out toward the southside of our property. We are attaching a visual of the addition to this letter, so you can see how it would look from our street and from our backyard. We absolutely LOVE the charm of the Selva Marina area with the beautiful trees, spacious yards, and unique style homes. One of our PRIMARY goals is to maintain the charm and peacefulness of the neighborhood. If you would like to come support our variance request, we would love to have you come to the public committee meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:00pm at the City of Atlantic Beach Chamber of Commerce conference room.
