Request: Request for a variance as permitted by Section 24-64, to increase the allowable fence height from 4 feet as required by Section III(D)(4) of the Selva Marina Unit 9 PUD to 6
feet at Selva Marina Unit 9 Block 1 Lot 20 (aka 1861 Sea Oats Drive).
Summary: The applicant is requesting to construct a six foot tall fence in the side and rear yards. The fence will replace two portions of an existing six foot tall fence along the northern
and southern sides of the lot. The property is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD) and has its own unique fence height requirements. The proposed fence height meets the requirements
of the City for non-PUDs, but not the requirements of this PUD where fences are limited to four feet in height.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent
meeting to which the Commission has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need to insure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
