A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE SERVICE OF MAE JONES ON THE CITY'S
TREE CONSERVATION BOARD
WHEREAS, Mae Tones was appointed to the Tree Conservation Board on February 14, 1994, has served the people of the City of
Atlantic Beach with distinction; and
WHEREAS, Mae Jones has given most generously of her time, talents and energy, always going the extra mile to promote tree
protection and to ensure the quality of life in Atlantic Beach for the benefit of all the residents; and
WHEREAS, term limits preclude Ms. Jones from continuing her service onthe Tree Conservation Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission ofAtlantic Beach, Florida, does hereby express sincere appreciation
and heartfelt gratitude for the contributions of Mae Jones and extends best wishes for her future happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution of esteem be spread upon the official minutes of the City of Atlantic
Beach and a certified copy hereof be furnished to Mae Jones.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida, this 10th day of September, 2001.
