This request for this was made aware to the permit applicant via the review comments (comment #1) emailed 8/22/2019 in the form of a PDF Bulletin concerning survey requirement changes. Please submit the copies of the Topo with all of the requirements that should be on the Topo mentioned in the PDF. 2. The description of proposed revision/correction that was resubmitted states that windows and doors will be reused. I don ’t see on the demo drawings where the 4’-0’’x5’-0’’ window listed on the window schedule on page A202 was removed from the existing home to be used again. On page A201, there was no number created in the Demo Notes Schedule for the removal of windows. Please verify where this window has been removed to be used at the new kitchen area or submit the Florida Product Approval Number for the new window that will be installed and submit the installation instruction associated with that FL# from the DBPR Website. 3. The Demo Plan-First Floor only shows 2 exterior doors to be removed and according to the resubmitted revision/correction comments to be re-used. The new first floor plan on page A202 shows that there will be 3 exterior doors. The Foyer Entry door shows a door with side lights on the architectural rendition. That rough opening appears to be a lot larger than the existing front door rough opening. Please explain or submit the FL# for the new exterior door that will be install and the installation instructions attached to the FL# from the DBPR Website. 4. On page A301, under the Elevation Legend, there are 3 descriptions of siding noted. At this time of plan review the Florida Product Approval Numbers are required to be submitted for all components and cladding elements for this project. Please submit those numbers and the installation instructions and evaluation reports for those products associated with the FL# from the DBPR Website. 5. The same guidelines from comment #4 previous will apply the roof coverings of the carport and the addition of the house. 6. The roof slope of the existing house is not shown on the design drawings but the new master bedroom W.I.C. and bathroom is. The slope will not allow the use of shingles as the roof covering. All Non-Shingled roofs, including additions with roofs shall go the plan review in the City of Atlantic Beach. Florida Product Approval Numbers, installation instruction and evaluation reports are required for the FL# roofing material to be used on this project and shall accompany the application for this building permit. 7. The slope of the carport is acceptable for the use of shingles but the requirement the product approval numbers is still required to be submitted now at this plan review stage of the project. 8. Comment #4 from the first emailed review comments concerning the cut detail labeled 6/S1.01on page S1.0 has not been addressed yet. This lot has a 25 foot BRL across the front of the lot. Please show that the new walls are at least 25 feet from the front lot line. Also, note that the side setbacks in RS-1 are 7.5 feet on each side. Height: Please show the overall height of the proposed covered patio. Accessory Structures: Accessory structures that are less than 5 feet away from principal structures are considered attached and must meet the same setbacks as the house. Covered Patios: Gazebos and covered patios are limited to 150 square feet and 12 feet in height. A PDF will be submitted for the recent change in the need for Surveys needed when developing property in Atlantic Beach. 2. 2 copies of FORM R402-2017 FBC-Energy Conservation needs to be submitted by the builder. A PDF will be attached to this plan review email for you to use and make the copies. 3. 2 copies of the Florida Product Approval Information Sheets need to be submitted for all of the components and cladding items used for this job. Roofing products including underlayment, windows and doors, siding (if using Hardi or Nichiha, Evaluation Reports also need to be submitted, 2 copies), soffit material (which is being inspected now in Atlantic Beach, so if this is a manufactured product, the evaluation report will be needed). 4. Page S1.0, shows a sectional cut labeled 6/S1.01. There is no detail for this on page S1.01 or on any of the structural pages. Verify and correct with a revision of that page if applicable. 5.
