Are you going to remove the remaining 3 palms from 315 211 or only 2 of the palms? There were 6 palms
on the site to begin with.
I've attached the updated calculations as if you are removing the remaining 3. It shows you now owe 21
additional inches of mitigation. If you are only removing two of the palms and keeping one, you will owe
13.5 inches of additional mitigation.
Either way, let me know how you plan to meet this mitigation. For example, planting three 7" palm trees
or planting three more 4" Magnolias would work.

Per our phone conversation, I am changing the tree permit for 315 2nd Street so that the oak is no longer being removed
and the three palms in the back are being removed. The palms were listed at 15" diameter each, so the required
mitigation will be 22.5 inches. The next step is to send me a "mitigation plan" that shows the location, type, and size
(caliper) of all trees to be planted for mitigation credit.
Note the following:
-Trees must be on the attached Tree List. Any "Legacy species" receive double credit (i.e. 2" Magnolia = 4" of
credit)
-New Palms must have a clear trunk height of 8 feet and must be a species on the Tree list.
-You may pay for up to 50% of required mitigation at $148 per inch.
For example, planting two 12" cabbage palms would meet the requirements. Once a successful mitigation plan is
received the permit can be approved and trees removed.
