Mealy Street Atlantic Beach, Fl 32233 FILE NUMBER: UBEX-14-00100012 DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING: June 9, 2014 ORDER GRANTING Use-By-Exception The above referenced applicant requested a use-by-exception as permitted by Section 24-112(c)(5), to allow the permanent storage of automobiles and automotive repair in the Light Industrial and Warehousing zoning district at 1840 S Mealy Street. On June 9, 2014, a public hearing was held and said request was considered by the City of Atlantic Beach City Commission. Having considered the application, supporting documents and comments by staff, the applicant, and members of the public, the City Commission GRANTED the request with conditions, finding the proposed development is consistent with the provisions of Section 24-1112(c)(5) of the Land Development Regulations establishing ground for approval of a use-by-exception. The conditions are as follows: That a maximum of 25 vehicles be stored on site plus employee parking. That no residential housing be allowed on site That the applicants get approval from the St. Johns Water Management District or a letter stating no approval is necessary.
