FYI, in case they come your way.
This is a new restaurant going into the Publix Center where Mi Casa used to be.
The space has been vacant for a quite a while, so a new Use-by-Exception is required for their beer & wine approval since a "current valid Alcoholic Beverage License and a current valid
Occupational License" does not exist.
We approved their business license to open just the restaurant (without beer and wine), and they have filed their application for a Use-by-Exception.
They came in today to ask if they could have a grand opening party and just give beer away.
We told them no, but they have been to about every City Department to ask if it was okay.
