be held by the identified governing body or bodies in Commission Chambers located at 800 Seminole Road on the provided date and time.

Request: Request for a variance as permitted by Section 24-64, to reduce the vehicle use area perimeter landscape buffer for side property lines from 5 feet as required by Section 24-177(d)(2)
to 3 feet and to reduce the minimum required parking from 16 spaces as required by Section 24-161(h)(7) to 9 spaces to allow the reconfiguration of existing nonconforming parking at
Saltair Section 3 Lots 834-834 and 850 (aka 425 Atlantic Boulevard).
Summary: The new owners of the Saltair Motel want to reconfigure the existing parking lot. Currently, there are 13 marked parking spaces on this property, however only 6 of the spaces
meet the current code. The proposed redesign of the parking lot would result in 9 marked parking spaces that all meet the current code. In addition, the proposed parking lot would encroach
into the required side landscape buffers by a few square feet on each side due to the angles of the property.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent
meeting to which the Commission has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need to insure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include
the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
