BACKGROUND: The City Commission discussed this ordinance at the April 24, 2017 regular
Commission meeting where it moved the item forward to a Public Hearing and First Reading on
May 8, 2017.
At that meeting Commissioners asked questions about various elements of the plan. Staff is
preparing responses to those questions that will be available in an amended agenda or at the next
meeting. Included topics are: floodplains/flood zones, ownership of utilities, the proposed
conservation area, the retention pond, and the existing covenants.
BUDGET: None.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve Ordinance No. 90-17-227 on First Reading and to move
forward to Second Reading on May 22, 2017.
