Fleet Landing REZ-13-00100052 Staff Report CC Ord 90-13-218 06.24.2013 CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH CITY COMMISSION STAFF REPORT AGENDA ITEM: Introduction and first reading of proposed Ordinance No. 90-13-218, related to application REZ-13-00100052, Fleet Landing Planned Unit Development (PUD) Modification, submitted by Foley & Lardner, LLP on behalf of owner of record Naval Continuing Care Retirement Foundation Inc. Said ordinance seeks to modify the existing PUD as approved by Ordinance No. 90-88-135 and amended by Ordinance No. 90-90-152, to incorporate an additional 2.06 acres and reconfigure the Master Development Plan to allow the relocation of the existing maintenance facility and the construction of a new Memory Care Center. BUDGET: No budget issues. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend approval upon first reading of proposed Ordinance No. 90-13-218, modifying the Fleet Landing Planned Unit Development, consistent with the recommendation of the Community Development Board. (Final Reading and Public Hearing is scheduled for regular City Commission meeting on August 12, 2013). ATTACHMENTS: Staff report and draft minutes from the May 21, 2013 Community Development Board meeting, proposed Ordinance 90-13-218, and supporting documents related to the Fleet Landing PUD Modification.
