Request: Request for a Use-by-Exception to allow for the manufacture and repair of surfboards within the Light Industrial and Warehousing (ILW) Zoning District for property within
an existing warehouse building located at 103 Levy Road.

Surrounding Land Use: Various commercial and light industrial uses.
STAFF COMMENTS
This Use-by-Exception is requested to allow for the manufacture and repair of surfboards. The proposed business location is a 500 square foot unit within an existing industrial concrete
building, which contains other light industrial and manufacturing type uses. The proposed use seems to be consistent with other surrounding activity as well as the intent of the ILW
district.
SUGGESTED ACTION TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL
The Community Development Board may consider a motion to recommend approval to the City Commission of a requested Use-by-Exception to allow for the manufacture and repair of surfboards
within the Light Industrial and Warehousing (ILW) Zoning District for property within an existing warehouse building located at 103 Levy Road, provided:
(Provide findings of fact similar to the following, and attach other conditions as may be appropriate.)
Approval of this Use-by-Exception is in compliance with the requirements of Section 24-63, Zoning, Subdivision and Land Development Regulations.
The requested use is consistent and compatible with other surrounding uses.
The proposed use is consistent with the intent of the ILW Zoning District
