Neither original survey on file (signed May 9, 1979) nor original construction plans (approved Oct 24, 1979) indicate a fence in this location. By current standards, and if this fence were to be replaced at this height (6’) today, it would be required to step in 10’ from the property line. Surveys on file (received by AB Building Dept on Nov 2, 1998 and Jun 23, 2000, respectively) do indicate a 6’-high fence located 0.8’ inside the northern property line adjacent to Seaspray Avenue, running easterly a length of approximately 26.8’ from the northwest corner to the driveway. By current standards, and if this fence were to be replaced at this height (6’) today, it would be required to step in 10’ from the property line. Original construction plans (approved by AB Building Dept on Jun 17, 1977) do indicate a 6’-high wooden fence located directly on the property line adjacent to Seaspray Avenue, running westerly 62’ from the northwest corner of the property, to a point even with the front corner of the house. By current standards, and if this fence were to be replaced at this height (6’) today, it would be required to step in 10’ from the property line. A partial survey received by the Building Dept on Nov 28, 2011 does indicate a 6’-high wooden fence located approximately 0.1’ inside the northern property line adjacent to Seaspray Avenue, running westerly a length of approximately 80’. By current standards, and if this fence were to be replaced at this height (6’) today, it would be required to step in 10’ from the property line. A permit application for construction of a fence, including a sketch showing a 6’-high fence located on the northern property line adjacent to Plaza and running easterly 80’, was approved by the AB Building Dept and approved on Mar 23, 1982, was found in the property archives. By current standards, and if this fence were to be replaced at this height (6’) today, it would be required to step in 10’ from the property line.
