T(` 4 T CODE, 1999 EDITION, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE LLL ti 11\1 ~/.1 ya . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. Chapter 6, Building and Building Regulations, Article III, Electrical Code, Section 6-31, Standards for materials, installations, etc., is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 6-31. Standards for materials, installations, etc. All electrical construction and all materials and appliances used in connection with the installation, maintenance and operation of electrical wiring, apparatus or equipment for light, heat or power within the city shall conform to such rules and regulations as may be embodied in this chapter or as may be adopted in this article and shall conform with approved methods of construction for safety to life or property. The regulations set out in the National Electrical Code, 1999 edition, as approved by the National Fire Protection Association (N.F.P.A.), are hereby adopted as the minimum standards for all electrical construction within the city. Section 2. This ordinazice shall take effect March 1, 2000. Passed by the City Commission on first reading this day of , 2000.
