Summary of Donner Park activities:
• We served an average of 45 kids during our after school kids Cafe snack program.
• Donner Park children also attended basketball games at Mayport Middle and Fletcher High School
along with the children of Jordan Park Community Center.
• February was the beginning of basketball season; therefore, we conducted basketball tryouts and
selected a team.
• Attended Jacksonville Housing Authority youth sports meeting.
• Participated in Jacksonville Housing Authority Black History Month activities.
Summary of Jordan Park activities:
• February was the beginning of basketball season; therefore, we conducted basketball tryouts and
selected a team.
• Attended a middle school basketball game .
• Coordinated a fun day in the Park.
Summary of Adele Grage activities:
• Began the renovations to Bull Park.
• Webpage updates for the month
• Attended a kayaking adventure with the City Manager .
• Camp Out Under the Stars preparations.
• Grant updates
• Other activities included, daily and night meetings, reports, phone calls, park inspections, etc.
__ Met with the City of Jacksonville Recreation Staff and toured some of our Parks.
• Assisted Teen Council with Disney trip planning which was cancelled.
