I would suggest that at the meeting you just acknowledge that you are the former owner of this property and that you currently have no financial interest in the property.

As a member of the CDB, I write concerning the above variance application filed on 9/05/06, this letter to be place in the file of same for consultation should the need arise.
In short, I recently sold the subject property to the current owner but have no present connection to or interest in same either as an owner or builder,and made no assurances (other
than those standard warranties contained in the deed) express or implied in any regard.
Additionally, the lawyer, Tim Franklin, who is representing the owner, does on-going legal work for me.
Your advice on my involvement in this variance would be greatly appreciated.
