V1946 Beachside Court ZVAR18-0020 RE Fence Height ModificationDear CDB,
Please approve Variance Request ZVAR18-0020 for a fence height
modification at 1946 Beachside Ct.
We are the neighbors directly abutting this property immediately to the
south at 1938 Beachside Ct. We think the new fence is a major
improvement over the old fence design. It is very attractive, is well
maintained and provides better privacy to all the backyards that adjoin
it. It is not visible from the street so does not effect the street
side view of any of our houses.
Furthermore, because we are a very compact community comprised of
single family homes and townhouses, with elevated townhouse decks
directly behind us, it helps to increase the privacy of our property by
reducing the sight line opportunities for our townhouse backyard
neighbors to peer into our yards. We wish all of our backyard and side
fences were like this.
Please approve this variance.
