PROJECT Property Location Map Item No: ZVAR18-0018 Address: 1861 Sea Oats Drive Applicant: John Halverson PUBLIC HEARING(S) Body: Community Development Board Date December 18, 2018 Time: 6:00 PM Request: Request for a variance as permitted by Section 24-64, to decrease the required rear yard setback from 30 feet to 17 feet at 1861 Sea Oats Drive in order to convert an existing screen room into a glass room. Summary: The applicant is requesting to convert an existing, non-conforming screen room into an enclosed glass room with a solid roof and walls in the backyard of the existing home. The property is located within the Selva Marina Unit 9 Planned Unit Development (PUD) which has a required 30 foot rear yard setback. The proposed glass room would be located 17 feet from the rear property line. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent meeting to which the Commission has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need to insure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
