Howell stated that the procedure meets the guidelines of the
Federal Government, and asked if there were any questions. Motion
was made by Commissioner Minton, seconded by Commissioner Mhoon
and carried to adopt the Affirmative Action Plan as proposed.
Said Resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
B . Savings Account, General Fund - Ocean State Bank -
Resolution 76-12A Resolution 76-12A was presented and read in full
by Mayor Howell and upon a motion by Commissioner Mhoon, seconded
by Commissioner Minton, said Resolution was adopted by unanimous
vote. Said Resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Action on Ordinances - Ordinance 90-76-66 - Continued.
After a short discussion on various sections of Ordinance
90-76-66, motion was made by Commissioner Mhoon, seconded by
Commissioner Jensen, and carried to not pass said Ordinance.
A second motion was made by Commissioner Mhoon to authorize the
City Building Department to issue permits in S/M #9 for those
plans that meet the criteria as set forth in Section II thru IX
of the Covenants & Restrictions as recorded in O/R Volume 4229,
Page 199. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Minton and
carried.
B. Ordinance 90-76-67 - First Reading.
Ordinance 90-76-67 amending Chapters 28-13- (a) , 28-14- (a) , 28-15- (a)
of the Code of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, entitled
Zoning" and covering the retail sale of gasoline only was
presented in full, in writing and read by title only on first
reading by Mayor Howell. Upon a motion by Commissioner Jensen,
seconded by Commissioner Minton, said Ordinance was passed on
first reading - title only and carried.
C . Ordinance 90-76-68 - First Reading .
Ordinance 90-76-68 amending Chapter 28-7- (d) of the Code of the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, entitled "Zoning" , covering
Side yard required, was presented in full, in writing, and read
by title only on first reading by Mayor Howell. Upon a motion
by Commissioner Jensen, seconded by Commissioner Minton, said
Ordinance was passed on first reading - title only and carried.
Miscellaneous Business
A. Sewer line extension, Sea Oats to Seminole Road. Mr. Vogel
stated that Mr. Parks had received a price quotation of $4, 255.00
