Significant Trends or Differences:
Police Department:

1. Actual calls for police services have shown a slight increase of
approximately 2%, from 5081 to 5195.
2. The number of arrests have increased by 34%, from 212 to 285,
largely as a result of increased traffc/DLTi arrests by officers.
3. Traffic tickets have increased by approximately 30% from 1169
to 1515, largely due to new officers being hired and trained, and
a focus on traffic enforcement.
Fire/Rescue:

Animal Control Update:
1. A rabies second alert was issued after an animal on the Navy
Base was diagnosed with rabies.
2. Anew Animal Control Officer has recently completed training,
and we now have two Officers to respond to animal complaints.
