Pease review for correction and or approval by the City Commission and the Mayor. The contract provides for a rate adjustment on the anniversary of the contract based on the upward or downward change of the CPI, for all urban consumers. The non-disposal - components shall reflect 70% of such change. The consumer price index (CPI) as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics changed upward 3.7% for the twelve months ending March 2000. The increase in all collection rates will therefore be 2.59%. A copy of the latest CPI is attached. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of the Atlantic Beach solid waste program. Please advise if we may be of further assistance.
