A code enforcement inspection at 150 LEVY RD was conducted on 3/20/2020. The City of Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances: VIOLATION CODE: Sec. 12-1.Nuisances(a) It shall be unlawful for any person or business,to do,perform, have, allow, suffer or permit any act, occurrence or condition within the city which constitutes a dangerous, unsafe,dilapidated or unsanitary condition,which may be injurious to the health and well being of the community. NATURE OF VIOLATION: The lot is overgrown and has been deemed a nuisance. The current state of the lot invites vagrants. A tent, sleeping bags and trash have been observed on the lot. The neighbors are concerned for their safety and have been contacting the Atlantic Beach Police Department regading the conditon of the lot. This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by clearing the lot of trash and debris and cutting back the vegetation to make the lot less attractive to vagrants within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. All vegetation less than 6 inches in diameter and 8 feet tall may be removed from the lot. If additional clearing is desired,please submit a clearing permit application to the City of Atlantic Beach. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Failure to correct the violation by the required date may result in this case being referred to the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate resulting in fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day. Upon completion of the action required, it is your responsibility to contact me and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
