Ordinance No. 95-00-75 -Introduction and First Reading AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING PLATTED EASEMENTS ON LOTS 8 AND 9, BLOCK 1, OCEAN GROVE, UNIT NO. 1, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 15, PAGE 82 OF THE CURRENT PUBLIC RECORDS OF DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (City Manager) 8. Miscellaneous Business: A. Approve property swap between Beaches Habitat and the City and authorize execution of Special Warranty Deed (City Manager) B. Set a tentative millage rate for FY 2000/2001; set date time and place for the first public hearing for the purpose of adopting a tentative millage rate and a proposed budget (7:15 p.m. September 11, 2000 in Commission Chambers); and authorize the City Manager to submit form DR-420 to the Duval County Property Appraiser (City Manager} 9. Reports and/or requests from City Commissioners and City Attorney Adjournment If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at any meeting, such person may need a record of the proceedings, and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Any person wishing to speak to the City Commission on any matter at this meeting should submit a request to the City Clerk prior to the meeting. For your convenience, forms for this purpose are available at the entrance to the Commission Chambers. Every effort is made to indicate what action the City Commission is expected to take on each agenda item. However; any agenda subject, regardless of how the matter is stated on the agenda, maybe acted upon by the City Commission.
